Car Dealers in Staffordshire

There are a number of car dealers in Staffordshire but I have come across what I believe to be the most helpful and efficient, Lookers Trade Centre.

Lookers Trade Centre is located in Burton but services the Staffordshire area, I am recommending this dealership as I part exchanged my car at the weekend.  I arrived at the trade centre and was greeted by an extremely helpful member of staff, in which started the buying process in a positive way and proceeded in the same way.

Once deciding on the car I wanted, I was then given options to part exchange my old vehicle, buy the car outright or pay on finance, I opted for the second option as it was a great deal, and now I can go back to Lookers Trade Centre for any aftersales that need to be carried out!

Reasons to Buy an Approved Used Honda

It’s always hard deciding what your next car will be especially when it comes to used cars, so I have decided to make this easy for you and do my own review.  From research I have found that Hondas are very reliable and in my opinion money well spent.

When purchasing a used Honda car from an approved dealer you will receive a complimentary 7 day drive away insurance so no need to worry about sorting out your insurance straight away.  Another good aspect from Honda is the variety of finance options which can be tailored to your needs.

An important guarantee for me is the 12 month happiness guarantee where you will receive road side assistance anywhere in the UK and Europe.  As well as rigorous checking carried out by Honda’s trained technicians  to make sure that your used Honda is of high standard.

I would personally recommend Lookers Honda, an approved used Honda car dealer Kent for a variety of used cars ranging from a used Jazz to a used insight.

Lexus Sponsor the National Schools Rugby Tournament

I am happy to say that Lexus are supporting the National Schools Rugby Tournament after supporting many rugby competitions.

The competition first established in 1996, will bring out the skills and sportsmanship between the young players through this tough game.  Being a fan of rugby I think it’s great that such a recognised car brand is sponsoring these players aged between eight and thirteen.  It gives them something to do, instead of out causing havoc.

Lexus are getting involved by giving away prizes such as the chance for a school to win a training day with the former England star Richard Hill.  It is clear that Lexus like to be a part of social enhancement at the same time as producing new Lexus cars or their dealerships selling used Lexus car.

The New Mercedes-Benz A-Class

Has anyone seen the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Concept car? Well it is meant to be available in 2012, I can’t wait to see if it’s going to be the same as the Concept car!

Historically Mercedes-Benz Concept cars are a good example of the manufactured model, so the A-Class should not be an exception.  The car is stunning with a dynamic exterior making it look extremely sporty but at the same time safety and practicality have not been compromised.  There is full LED-high performance, daytime running lights and a brilliant feature with an inbuilt smartphone which is operated by COMAND Online.

There are many features included, one of my favourites is the radar collision warning system that gives warnings to avoid rear-end collisions, this is also a first in the compact class sector.   Along with its turbocharged, 210hp BlueEFFICIENCY 4-cylinder petrol engine, this A-Class Mercedes will be the ultimate compact car.

Give Your Car a Winter Heath Check

Winter is only around the corner so I think it’s time I should check my car especially with the snow we seem to be getting now.  I have taken on this task myself and so can you especially if you have bought a new car from South West car Supermarket as your car may not be eligible for the manufacturers winter heath check.
A few tips that I would recommend are as follows:
·
  • Make sure you have enough tread on your tyres (1.6mm)
  • Use air conditioning to reduce misting
  • Carry an emergency kit in your car
  • Only travel in severe conditions if you really have to!
  • Keep the window screen clear and clean inside and outside
  • Drive slowly and reduce your speed by easing on the throttle and avoid using the brakes

Make sure you follow these simple steps but take caution as our roads are not made for these cold conditions and think hard about whether you need to travel.

The new Jaguar Xf was revealed at the 2011 New York Auto Show, the masculine, aggressive front design caught everyone’s attention so Jaguar were pleased to be manufacturing the model in July 2011.

The XF is now available in five engines, three diesel engines and two petrol engines; the diesel starts with a 2.2 litre with 190PS, then a 3.0 diesel litre with 177 or 202 PS.  The petrol options are a 5.0 litre V8 with 385 PS and a supercharged edition with 510 PS.

The new Jaguar XF was awarded the “Car of the Decade” in August at the 2011 Auto Express Driver Power Survey, where over 300,000 people participated in the survey, hundreds of cars were tested and the Jaguar XF came first.

Ford dealership cars become target for metal thieves

Community members and corporations alike are suggested to use an anti-criminal system named Smartwater.  Smartwater is a hidden liquid that leaves a fingerprint DNA on metal, to help stolen goods make it back to their rightful owner. Other corporations supply a purpose built kit  marketed for vehicles which will equip you with metal marking fluid, indestructible sticker and a window sticker which will ward off potential thieves that you have protected your catalytic converter. With this calibre of hooliganism consistently on the increase, such a small investment seems worth it.

In the existing fiscal climate and with the value of precious metals always on the rise, organised gangs of criminals are showing their entrepreneurial flair. The raid of copper and lead has now become commonplace. Many churches, residential properties and schools are finding they have been robbed. St. Asaph Cathedral in Wales was recently targeted by thieves and had £10,000 worth of lead stolen overnight.

Unfortunately Ford Mondeo Dealer Chelmsford cars are also a target for metal thieves. They are nicking catalytic converters due to the high value precious metals they contain. Catalytic converters assist in reducing the carbon emissions from the exhaust pipe. The ingenious invention adopts precious metals such as platinum, palladium and rhodium which are naturally appealing to thieves.  Taller cars are more at risk since the accessibility is usually better and the bigger the engine, the bigger the loot!  In order to reduce the activities, park your car in a lock up if possible, only leave your car in a well- lit area and take note of people working under cars!
