The Evoque made
its debut in the 2010 Paris Motor Show on September 30th. The new
Range Rover is offered in two editions (two or four wheel drive) that offer a
2.2-liter turbo diesel with fuel efficiency. The Si4 engine delivers with 240
horsepower, pushing the envelope of the 0-60 barrier with an impressive
seven-second mark.
Range Rover
delivers on a new body frame for the Evoque. The body is a mono shell that uses ultra-high
strength Boron steel in strategic locations to cut down on impact deformity and
object intrusion. The front end has been redesigned to protect the driver and
passenger more efficiently with the use of the mono shell technology.
The interior of
the Evoque went under some cosmetic changes to give the interior a sportier
design. The Rover retains its classic storage under the sloping console, while
providing new dimensions to the vehicle. The interior technology was enhanced
as well and it includes five cameras placed around the car, Adaptive headlights
with a Dipping function, heated windshield, seats and steering wheel. The
Rover’s smart key enables quick access to the cab, a hard drive system that
includes navigation, Bluetooth support and an 825-watt audio system. Range
Rover also offers individualized options for the driver.
