Jaguar Land Rover create Jobs

I find is so refreshing that jaguar Land Rover have started a recruitment campaign for 1,000 jobs, since it has started they have received over 8,000 applications! The jobs are being created at the Land Rover plant in Solihull, which already has 5,000 employees.

They are providing new product actions in the next 5 years which will involve new Land Rover cars so this will keep the new applicants busy and provide them with skilled trade jobs.  The workforce will increase by a massive 25%.

This is brilliant news for the jaguar Land Rover enthusiasts as it will mean more Jaguar cars and new Land Rover car.  I might even have to take a look at the new models as I am a big fan of the Evoque so I hope they produce another model that will bring as much attention!

The brilliant thing about this campaign is that Jaguar Land Rover have said they will send a response to every applicant even if they have not been successful, so will give an insight into areas they need to work on for next time.

   

New Peugeot SUV

I am very fond of Peugeot cars and have never owned any other car, my first car was a Peugeot 106 and now I drive a Peugeot 206 which I find extremely reliable.

I’ve had my 206 for over 6 years now and really want to buy a new car, and you guessed it I’ve got my eye on another Peugeot! The new Peugeot SUV, which is definitely and improvement for me as it’s a lot bigger than my small car so a lot more room which is perfect for me.

The design is stereotypical of Peugeot but it’s easily recognised with 18” alloy wheels and a unique look.  As well as the usual interior features such as leather trimmed steering wheel, a trip computer and curtain airbags so the safety is excellent. 

With a variety of options and an outstanding price starting from £26,595 you can’t really miss out this value for money.

New Ford Car

Ford has decided to market the new Ford car, the Focus ST, in a film adaption of The Sweeney that is to be released in September next year.  This is perfect timing for the launch of the Focus ST in the summer of 2012.

The production crew have been given six black Focus STs that will be driven by the likes of Ray Winston and Ben Drew! I can’t wait to see them racing across the city of London chasing the bad guys!

Apparently the Ford Focus will not be the only new Ford car in the film, there is to be Ford Mondeos, Galaxys and Transit vans all as unmarked vehicles.  It is the perfect film for Ford to be featuring in as back in the 1970s when the original TV series was played there were Ford Grandads, Consuls and Cortinas.  Other films the Ford featured their new cars in were Casino Royale in 2006 with the new Ford car, the Mondeo.  

Range Rover Evoque prices

The Range Rover Evoque was named as Best Compact SUV at the Scottish Car of the Year Awards by the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers.

This iconic British car has stolen the show with many awards since its release in September. This award is definitely suited to the Evoque as it is ideal for the Scottish driving conditions. In the last two years we have seen extremely icy and snowy conditions so the Evoque is perfect for this weather.

The Range Rover Evoque prices are not too expensive either as they range from £27,955 which I think is not bad at all for this stylish unique car. With a selection of engines and body styles there is an Evoque suited for everyone, and this is clear from the number of buyers with 20,000 worldwide and 6000 of these were British!

New 2012 Honda CR-V

I was really excited to see that the all new Honda CR-V was presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show and I only have to wait until December 15th to get my hand on one!

The stylish fuel efficient CR-V has been given a dynamic and classy look with plenty of features which include an easy fold down rear seat and even better Bluetooth hands free with a full colour intelligent display screen. I think my favourite function is the SMS text messaging function, which reads received texts from compatible mobile phones through the audio system.

This new Honda CR-V is by far an improvement from the used Honda CR-V as in addition to the above there are brilliant safety functions, such as full surround airbags and a passenger side Occupant Position Detection System and a design that helps reduce neck injuries if a collision was to occur.

New Citroen C4

The new Citroen C4 is a brilliant new model from Citroen- well that’s my opinion! I say this as it has a robust design giving a strong powerful image.

The performance is pretty impressive with anti-roll bars to keep its composure so the handling is great.  With a choice of Petrol and diesel engines varying from a VTI 96 to a HDI 150 there is an option for everyone.

As well as all of the above, the Citroen C4 has great safety features; my favourite is the Blind Spot Monitoring, where sensors are used to detect vehicles in your blind spot and informs of this.  Internal features include driving aids and sound sophistication which filters out noise from outside of the car.  

New Aston Martin Rapide

The car I would buy if I had the money would definitely be the new Aston Martin Rapide; it has the stunning looks to make heads turn as it races by just leaving a trail of dust.

The new Rapide has a four door body with tailgate and four individual seats.  Along with integrated LED side lights.  The performance of this amazing car is unbelievable; you can achieve 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds with a maximum speed of 183 mph!

The interior is packed with leather trimmings, sat navigation, parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system plus much more! I think one of my favourite features is the integrated Apple iPod connector.
