Automotive Marketing

GForces

I have come to the end of my first week at GForces and have found it a great environment to work in. GForces are an automotive Web management company based in Kent, they specialise in automotive marketing and turn dealer's websites into effective marketing and sales tools. With their great expertise in the marketing industry they focus on the web as one of the digital tools to reach the audience.  With the constant changing needs of the car buyer, GForces have to be up to date with the consumers demands and so stay ahead of competition. With their Web Trinity (Web Marketing, Web Platform and Web Management), they can effectively carry out the online strategy and appeal to the audience and turn them into customers.

Web Marketing

Search Engine Optimisation is one of the many tools GForces use to produce sales opportunities, this is used to increase traffic to a website from search engines as you want your website to be viewed as much as possible to reach a wider audience.  Many techniques are used to achieve optimisation, these include link building and key phrase analysis, links can be built through blogs by using key phrases.  Links are used by search engines to crawl through the web to find the best path possible, the keywords used to link are best used in titles, meta tags and text so search engines find them relevant.  Titles and meta tags which are used in the description of the website are important for SEO practices and should be used intelligently in order for the user to find the site.

Tools such as Google Adwords can be used to measure how often your key phrase is used and by how many users, this information will rank the keywords for you to view.  It is important that search engines view content to list pages as well as access to crawling link structure to view pages on a website, it is not a good idea to hide the navigation so that search engines cannot access and therefore affect the pages being listed.  Manipulative linking is a form of spamming which uses the search engines' use of link popularity to improve visibility, this becomes a problem to resolve as it can be shown in many forms.  These form are, reciprocal link exchange,  self referential links, paid links and low quality redirectory links.
