The Fiat 500 won this award as it still attracts attention after 4 years with its ground breaking and unique design it represents the best of Made in Italy along with advanced engine technology, safety and comfort.
This car is not just a modern version of a compact city car but a starting point for Fiat to build upon with all their cars, they have a 5 star Euro NCAP crash safety rating along with 40 international awards, this shows that Fiat have designed an innovative car that thankfully has been recognised.
This is the second time Fiat have won this award, the last time was in 2004 for the Fiat Panda, this shows that this Italian brand can create future trends with their brilliant design.
