The new Vauxhall Zafira premiering at the 2011 Frankfurt
Motor Show has finally confirmed the price of £21,000 which is £1,200 cheaper
than the Ford Focus.
The all new Zafira includes air conditioning, DAB, cruise
control, MP3/Aux In connections, 6 airbags, 7 speaker sound systems; flex 7
seating and active headrests. The
exterior is similar to the Geneva, using Mark Adams’ ‘Sculptural artistry meets
technical precision’ theme which is used on all new Vauxhall vehicles.
The Flex7 seating has
been completely re-vised, giving more flexibility, comfort and improvement, the
material quality has also improved along with more space. The bodywork uses similar features to the
Insignia but with wider tracks and 190mm longer to make the drive more
comfortable. There is also an option for the FlexRide adaptive damping system.
The Zafira also comes
with many safety functions such as traffic sign recognition, advanced park assist
and side blind spot alert. The new
Zafira comes with a variety of engine options, which are 1.4 turbo petrol, a
2.0 CDTi diesel (with three outputs, including a 119g ecoFLEX version) as well
as a 1.8 litre petrol unit in 110PS or 165PS options.
Last month I bought a used Corsa Lisburn from Charles Hurst in Northern Ireland, I found the service they gave me exceptional and would visit all their showrooms to buy a used Corsa Belfast or a used Corsa Dundonald.
